Delicious Holiday Fudge

I make this every Christmas and it is always the top recipe request from friends.

In a saucepan combine:

1 stick butter
4.5 cups sugar
1 large can evaporated milk
.5 tsp salt

Bring this to a full boil for 5 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add:

12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 oz. Hershey bar
2 tsp vanilla

Mix this together until the chocolate is melted, then add:

8 oz. marshmellow creme

Once it's all mixed pour it into a 9x13 pan and let it cool.

Baked Sweet Potatoes

Ok, so they're not actually potatoes, but they are a delicious and often forgotten side dish. Plus, you have to eat color to have color and sweet potatoes are super colorful!

Preheat oven to 425. Wash the potatoes and pierce the skin in a few places with a fork or thin-bladed knife. Line a baking tray with tin foil (they will drip while cooking) and place the potatoes on it. Bake for about an hour, shaking the tray periodically so that the potatoes won't stick to the foil.

I have found that a lot of the entrees I bake usually need a 350 degree oven. In that case I bake the potatoes at 350 for about an hour and a half.
